So this is my 100th post!

Yes really! Who would have thought i'd make 100 posts. So I've actually had the blog for a little over a year now and whadda ya know? It's still going, lol! Ok so it hasn't actually been very regular but its kinda fun to look back on all my posts and i guess this is a good time to say thanks to everyone who's come to read and left comments. Thanks so much!

So anyway, what i really was going to say in this post was about my cool shopping finds of the last few days. Last Saturday I went to a crop in Pukekohe and round the corner was this awesome gift shop and I got this:

Then yesterday I went to Sylvia Park for the first time. Man its huge! I was in heaven in Borders, just too much to look at and not enough time though I got a new Maisy book for Isla. But i got this at a gift store there:

OMG i love it. I have put rubber stamps in the bottom basket and inks on top and its sitting on my scrap desk. I hate having to rummage around to find the right colour ink so hopefully this will work out well.

I also found these gorgeous cards. Two from Borders and one from another gift shop. I think I might frame them. They go really well with the print i got a few weeks back too.

This one's for Jo!

Here you go Jo - here's a pic of Woolly Ted. This is the teddy bear that I knitted totally all by myself. I feel a bit chuffed that i actually did this, so will have to try some of those other knitted toys out see below.

So I went to a crop on Saturday. We've started a circle journal for the group - i frantically got mine finished the night before - it was a tough one, seemed to take me ages to do. Still at least i've got mine finished. I'm still waiting to get the one that's meant to be passed to me, but no pressure eh Trina?!!! Should be good though, in a year's time i'll get an awesome journal back, how cool.

While I was at the crop I did this layout. Its for the latest NZ Dares theme - to use another craft, mix up your title letters and use a journalling block. For some reason I can't get it to upload there or maybe i just can't see it cos it says it is loaded, who knows. So I thought I'd share it here. (ETA: its showing now, yay!)

Knitted toys and crossprocessing

Some pics from inside the Toys To Knit book. I finished the teddy bear i knitted for Isla now this book has given me some more toys to try out my new knitting skills.

And last week I tried out the CrossProcessing tutorial that Elsie Flannigan linked on her blog. Of course it doesn't fully work when you don't have the full Photoshop but luckily Sharon had a link to a curves plugin that helped. I really like it and it was so easy. I'm still interested in getting some actions to make it even more easier. One day I'll splurge and buy some.
Original on the left.

And with a funky Kodak frame.

And another one - love this one.

Shoes, again. And a weekly review.

Ok so it doesn't actually matter who the shoes belong to, just the fact that she can get her feet into them. So here she is displaying a keen sense of fashion wearing her Dad's sneakers along with her teletubbie suit:
So last week there were no blog posts because my camera died and really you can't have a post without a photo now can you? No, totally against the rules. So now the camera is fixed (it appeared to be suffering from out of battery-itis! Oops) we can start posting again.

Ok so in the past week we went to the zoo - no photos. But Lesley got some very cute shots of Isla being led around by Amanda, so cute.
We went to Trina's house on Wednesday to pick up my Stampin Up stamps. This is what I got.

On Saturday went down to Nic's house for a big gettogether of some online scrapping friends. Was great fun and while there we all made a cute little album and took pics which we printed out on a wee portable printer so we could all stick them in right there and then. The wonders of technology! I finished my album yesterday - here are some pics.

And some inside pages:

This morning we went to lapsit and i also got these books out of the library.

And this was lunch today.
